The temperature bulb is a component of the radiator thermostatic valve, also called the temperature bulb, which is used to sense temperature changes and generate a driving effect. The working medium is usually liquid, solid (paraffin) or gas-liquid mixture.
According to different temperature sensing media, thermostatic valves can be divided into solid temperature packaging type, liquid temperature packaging type and gas temperature packaging type. The medium of the solid hot ball is paraffin wax. In contrast, the service life of paraffin heating bulbs is shorter, usually less than 5 years, while the service life of liquefied gas bulbs can reach more than 20 years. The temperature control sensitivity and stability of paraffin thermosetting plastics are much lower than liquid and gas thermosetting plastics. Therefore, thermostatic valves for paraffin thermoset packaging are outdated in Europe. However, due to the low price, it is still produced at home and abroad. Liquid thermosyphon has wide applicability and its performance is also very stable. From a cost-effective point of view, it is far better than paraffin plastic wrap. Currently, it is the leading product in the European and domestic markets.
